Thank you, Jenny! Thanks so much for putting the announcement of my show on Flipboard. I love the way you used a detail of “Gabriel” as the background. Very nice. What a good friend you are. When the show is over, my blogger friends, I will tell you some stories!!!! 🤗

Me too, Jill! What party we would have. As you can see, I am having a closing reception on the 21st. A casual thing. No big deal. But during the month of May, there is a lot of gallery traffic and it seemed like a good time. Thanks so much for your support.

Hollis, I believe each one has a different perspective and emotional connection. Do you have titles for each one, Hollis? A New York show must have really been exciting! Warm regards!

Titles are a tricky subject for me. Sometimes I just sit at the computer and name the paintings while I am sending off the JPEGs. They are stupid titles, but one of our fellow bloggers made me realize that titles help people without a lot of art knowledge delve into the piece a little easier. The reason I didn’t think titles were important is because……when I do my work, I leave half of my brain out of my head. I know this does not make sense, but I literally don’t think. If I do that, my best work comes through. So the titles are silent. The abstraction is. Just IS. I guess that is what abstraction is. At least for me it is.
