Thanks Marjie. Just getting to these wonderful comments. You’re back from Israel and I am back from NY. Both were really good receptions, opening and closing. In different ways. At the opening, there were a lot of partygoers, but lots of interest in seeing the work. At the closing, there were a lot of brokers there doing video chats with their clients. It is possible I could have some buyers. All in all, the interest in my work was so great, it was very rewarding.

It was received very well, Jenny! I had been working so hard prior, during and after the show, that the time went fast for me too. I will catch you all up in my next post! Thanks for your well wishes!

I like the beautiful colors in this, Hollis. The name Gabriel could mean the angel. I think the way it appears gives it an appearance of dance and athleticism. My brother always ask me to tell him and says, Art is in the eyes of the beholder. 🙂

Robin. Thanks for raising questions that I have wanted to answer for a long time! A couple of things here: I named it Gabriel, because I followed the composition of a Renaissance painting entitled “Gabriel.” Secondly, Art would not have standards or degrees being earned if it was in the eye of the beholder! Your brother might be blowing you off so he doesn’t have to explain. lol. Love to you for all your support and attention to my work. And yes, the colors always cause an emotional reaction in people. Different reactions. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Art has standards. I have studied very hard and worked for a long time for the privilege of doing artwork at “what-I-like- to-think” is a high level. Or at least, the highest I can achieve. (There is always room for improvement!) Thanks again, Robin, for your interest and constant support.
