“Afloat” Image. Ceres Gallery. New York. Solo Show.
Another ballet collage. My daughter is in preprofessional ballet; I don’t think my awareness would have included this imagery if that were not so. Some of my favorite ballet pieces are these “partnering” dances (the French expression, I do not know how to spell) and the melodies are often plaintive and so beautiful, that they have moved me to tears.
Your art is beautiful!

This is getting me in the ballet mood – I’ve just booked tickets to see Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake

How wonderful! My daughter has been in Swan Lake twice.
There are so many versions, some more bizarre, some traditional. Are you going to London?

No – more local: it is the London production when it goes on tour early next year – and, I’ve just read, that the leading dancer is the original Billy Elliot from the London production

It’s interesting when you use one art form in another and it brings more to it – eg of the audience’s memories of seeing such performances.
Romeo and Juliet was the last thing my partner and I went to see together before we broke up.

That is an intense ballet. Sorry.
